Print Story: Petit Fleur

With its tiny berries and delicate flowers, our Petit Fleur print speaks of the rebirth and regrowth of springtime.  Pastel greens, pinks and baby blues provide the perfect backdrop for this intriciatelly hand-painted design, made exclusively by Parisian artist Bruno Lamy.  We talked with CEO Gaura Tibbitts to learn more about this whimsically beautiful print.

What was the idea behind Petit Fleur?

Gaura Tibbitts: Petit Fleur means “little flower” in French.  It’s really more of a springtime print, inspired by soft pastels.  I think of it as the feeling of springtime when the flowers are just starting to bloom after a long winter.

What is the  print best used for?

GT: I think this one is sort of a brunch or breakfast print, it would definitely fit that. It’s kind of a nostalgic, classic looking print.

What can customers pair this print with?

GT: It can be paired with the pinstripe napkins; both green and pink complement.  The hemstitch napkins and the Sonia placemats also pair very well.
